How to reach the port of Ancona
By car
When arriving from the north - get off the A14 Highway at the Ancona Nord exit. Go straight at the traffic light and take the SS16 in the direction of Ancona. Leave the motorway at Torrette di Ancona and follow the directions for downtown. On entering the city, detour to the right and pass through the industrial zone, following the directions for "PORTO IMBARCHI" ("PORT - EMBARKATION"). Turn left at the traffic light and, after approximately 250 m., you will find yourself at the entrance to the port area.
When arriving from the south - get off the A14 Highway at the Ancona Sud exit. Drive straight ahead for approximately 400 m., until you reach the intersection for downtown Ancona (turn left). Take the first exit heading downtown and get on another elevated motorway. Stay on it to the end and enter the downtown area. At the rotary intersection, turn left and get on the Via Martiri della Resistenza (leaving a tunnel to your right). At the 1st traffic light, go straight to the Via De Gasperi and travel it for its entire length. At the 3rd traffic light, turn right and take the Via Marconi; continue until you come to another traffic light, staying in the left lane. Drive past the light, following the directions for "PORTO IMBARCHI" ("PORT - EMBARKATION") and after 250 metres you will find the entrance to the port area.

By train
Once you have arrived at the station, you can reach the port:
- by taking buses numbers 1, 1/3 or ¼ in the direction of downtown. The ticket is on sale at the station for approximately € 0.90. Travel time: 10 minutes. For the timetables, see the Bus Timetable Site.

- by foot it is roughly a 20 min. walk.
By plane
The following connections are available to passengers arriving at the Ancona-Falconara Airport:
- the railway service, departing from the airport (Castelferetti Station) and arriving at the Ancona Station; ticket cost approximately € 1.25.
- the "J" bus line ("S" line on Sunday) of the ConeroBus service, with arrival at the Ancona railway station; ticket cost approximately € 1.25. The tickets are on sale at the Airport.
